My name is Aaron and I’m a writer. Rational Geekery is my personal weblog where I opine about the Liberal Arts, digital culture, technology, productivity, and the modern world in general.
It’s not a gadget or news blog. I don’t have the time to do these subjects justice, so I concentrate on sharing ideas and annoyances relating to being a grown-up in today’s world.
I am based in Newark on Trent (but I spend long periods in Tallinn). I live with my beautiful wife Olja, our children Danilo and Vitaliya, and our two cats Ozzie and Tokyo.
Having worked in management, finance, and as a freelance writer, I am now gainfully employed as a technical writer in the UK. I still take on freelance work, so please get in touch if you have a project you think I might be interested in.
I’ve been blogging since ‘04 and around on the internets much longer. I write for a few places online, including the leading political blog, Liberal Conspiracy.
I have lived in Nottingham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Hertfordshire and Tallinn.
I love comics, the Cohen Brothers, Valve, and Radiohead.
