Brilliant!
Apple have revamped the 'Get a Mac' ads using Brit comedy duo Mitchell & Webb (previously they starred a couple of American dudes). The ads are currently doing the rounds on CiF (Ms Henry will be happy), and they're far more sardonic than the saccharine yank versions.

in an interesting interaction between the chap from the Muslim Council of Britain & the woman heading up Cameron's multicultural analysis team (last nite on the BBC News channel)..........the lady was left floundering and was effectively accused of representing the nasty party.

Trouble's brewing over at knowledge central. Last Wednesday a new online encyclopaedia began inviting public contributions: the stated aim, to knock the monolithic Wikipedia from its pedestal and show it up for the flawed pretender it really is.
The challenger calls itself Citizendium, and it's notable first and foremost for being launched by Larry Sanger: the man who, in 2001, co-launched Wikipedia itself, before growing disillusioned with it.
Wikipedia's combination of highly cross-referenced 'wiki' database and wisdom-of-crowds intellectual democracy led to arguably the fastest-growing knowledge- repository ever.
