The Miligaffe
Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 5:29PM
Of course it was a pretty daft mistake. In fact as far as QT gaffes go, it's a classic, but of course certain elements of the blogosphere will attempt to frame the mistake as further evidence of the TB-GB schism and the end of David Miliband's career. It represents neither. The other QTers enjoyed rubbing Miliband's nose in his own mess, which of course caused a swell in the trousers of certain Tory-bloggers, but they are, yet again, over-playing their hand. It was a gaffe, simple as that.

I never realised that a piss take would result in over-analysis that concluded the piss take was over analysing a situation. That's like.. pretty special.
Don't be thin-shelled, Dizzy.
I'm not. I just think you lack a sense of humour.
That's fine. Opinions and all that. But just one quick question...
Am I supposed to give a shit what you think?
I don't see any humour here, if only sarcasm, or am I wrong?
Tyger, of course you don't have to give a shit what I think. I was merely pointing out the irony of your post and the fact that you're far to serious. Although you are involved in the whole "raising blogging standards" bollocks I believe, so I shouldn't be surprised by your first post really.
Now do excuse me, I have to go and help out my evil conservative friends. They fund me you know.
p.s. Jose, it's the latter not the former.

No really, don't make stuff up on my account. The conservatives are no longer cool enough to be really evil.
