Last year Michael Lewis' son (above) was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a severe muscle wasting disease. This year, to raise money for the charity Parent Project UK, Michael is jumping out of an aeroplane at 10,000ft.

Time is running out and we need a cure for this awful illness. I can't do much on my own to find a cure but I can support PPUK who lobby the Department of Health and fund their own research projects. There are the seeds of hope out there but it is going cost a lot of money.
