laptop test

Tomorrow I take delivery of a Toshiba Tecra notebook for the week - for review. Should give the thing a real work-over as I'm on the road for the foreseeable future.
It's running Microsoft XP, which is a decent OS (as far as Microsoft goes), but I was rather hoping to give Vista a test drive. No matter, at least I can measure its performance against my AMD 3400+ "bigPC", which runs XP (as well as Linux (Ubuntu 7.04) on separate HDDs).
I just hope it has Firefox installed, I'm not sure I could stomach a week of IE.
